Lauren Berlekamp began working at Movement Media in fall 2016. Her compassion for the collective well-being of future generations informs her dedication to mission-driven work. She is passionate about integrity in the food system with regard to organic cultivation, right-to-know labeling, farmworker rights, animal welfare, and regenerative agriculture.
Lauren supports Dr. Bronner’s international public relations management and works closely with the company’s international markets to help promote and protect the integrity of the brand around the world. In this role, her work has helped to facilitate extensive media coverage and development of the brand in Australia, Mexico, Germany, United Kingdom, and many other countries. She has helped to develop and implement frameworks for mission-driven public relations partnerships and campaigns around the world. In 2019 she helped launch Dr. Bronner’s international philanthropy program, the All-One International Initiative, which continues to give away at least 1% of sales to International markets in support of social justice, animal advocacy, and the environment. Lauren’s past work with Movement Media includes supporting Fair World Project from 2016-2022.
Lauren began her communications career in radio in 2007 and has since provided communications and multimedia services to businesses, nonprofit organizations, and campaigns in the interest of community building, food security, water rights, drug policy reform, climate change, and other issues. Prior to joining the Movement Media team, she worked as the Grassroots Event Coordinator for Hemp History Week, a nationwide education campaign of Vote Hemp and the Hemp Industries Association.
She enjoys all kinds of adventure, especially in nature; dancing, music and cinema; preparing therapeutic foods and plant-based remedies; and balances the seriousness of movement work by exploring the healing arts. She is also a certified Laughter Yogi and loves to see people smile.
