The Movement Messenger: March 2018

This month, we are excited to share big news in the development of the Regenerative Organic Certification (ROC), the three pillar standard that seeks to address the negative impacts of our current agricultural system by addressing climate change, animal welfare, and economic injustice in a holistic standard for ecological agricultural production.

Learn more by checking out the short primer video our friends at Patagonia put together under our In The Works section below.

The ROC was officially launched at Expo West earlier this month, during a panel featuring the leadership of the Regenerative Organic Alliance, the governing body behind the standard. A huge thanks to Gather Films and Dr. Bronner’s marketing department for making it possible to watch the entire panel presentation here. Politico reported on the significance of this panel and the increasing buzz around regenerative agriculture in the natural industry, in a piece linked below.

Dr. Bronner’s also released its annual All-One! Report at Expo West! You can read it here. It’s truly a work of art and illuminates the company’s deep and impressive mission and impact. If you are interested in a hard copy, we will be doing a mailing soon — just drop us a line.

Our In The News section features a sampling of press coverage that we generated for the launch of the ROC and about our clients and partners generally. In Dr. Bronner’s news, this includes an exciting in-depth conversation with the company president, Michael Bronner, on the School for Humanity podcast and a look at Gero Leson’s work to establish a new source for (regenerative) organic & fair trade coconut oil for Dr. Bronner’s. We also highlight a pair important placements about the work of the Plant Based Foods Association.

In On Our Minds, our team shares thoughts and inspirations … or something in between. Until next time, wishing you all the best on behalf of all of us at Movement Media!

Solidarity,
Ryan Fletcher
